Ghislaine Carion was born in Belgium where she studied sales and business. Her mother tongue is Dutch but she is equally fluent in French. In 2008 she moved to the south of France with her husband. In 2014 they fell in love with the Gers and bought an old Gascon house with a traditional 'Pigeonnier'. They have renovated it into a B&B, taking care to preserve the charm of the original features.

Searching for her ideal Gascon home is what led Ghislaine to become interested in real estate here in the Gers, a perfect idea given her commercial background. There are so many beautiful houses, each with their own style, charm and history. Ghislaine and her husband have a son and daughter who are approaching their thirties and they are also now the proud grand-parents of a little girl called Oona. The rest of the family is still in Belgium but they absolutely love coming to holiday in the Gers! When Ghislaine can get some free time away from real estate and her B&B (!) she loves going antique hunting at the many flea markets here in the south-west. Her main hobby is painting the beautiful landscapes which are also so plentiful here!
